Hi everyone. January I offically turned 31/2. 6 more months and I turn 4years old Can you belive it I am growing like a weed. Mommy is thinking about taking us on vacation, not sure where yet, but maybe to Tahoe to see old friends. I’m still having a lot of fun at school. Thank you to everyone for my Christmas gifts.Mommy and I made thank you cards, but we haven’t mailed then yet. so look for them soon.
My cop friend was out and about today! Well he didnt catch me speeding this time! I had very ample warning to slow down from my wonderful detector! Same cop as before! He is out to get me! Not like he sits on well traveled streets. He is hiding out on roads with no outlet and so forth. Facing the direction to get a on coming car so someone coming up the road not down it…. At 330 in the morning with radar on… The only person in blaine at this time of night is me…. That is on the road anyways. So let the games begin! I would say the bellingham herald too but they ride bikes in blaine so I am literally the only car on the road during this time of the day…

It’s Katie and I am 3 1/2 years old. I’m a big sister to my baby brother James. I call him buddy cause he is my little buddy. I go to Kids world during the day while my mommy & daddy have to work, I love it. I have been attending school since I was 2 years old. I love going, My favorite thing to do at school is finger paint and play with moon sand. My mommy singed me up for swimming lessons. Three days a week I get to go swimming with my friends from school. Our first couple of classes was about getting use to the water. Now I can float on my back and tummy and kick my feet. I often practice in the bath tube and pretend I’m a mermaid or fish 
. Once a week we get to ride the school bus to go to Cornwall park. It’s fun riding the bus with my friends. I have 2 best friends Jacob and Lanie. we are inseparable. Tuesday I had to get a booster flu shot. As soon as I seen the needle I tried to hop off the table. It hurt for a minute, then it was buddy’s turn and I held his hand he was a trooper he screamed so loud! Later that day I took my first trip to the Dentist for a teeth cleaning. The room was paited with whales, turtles fish and the assistant was so nice, I wasn’t ready to sit in the chair alone. So mommy held me on her lab while the dentist took a look and cleaned my teeth. I was a little afraid when I seen the dentist’s tool to clean my teeth, I think it looked a lot like the shot I got that morning. (boy did mommy have it in for me). After we were all done the nice lady gave me my very own goodie bag with a new tooth brush, tooth paste, floose, and 7 stickers. I even got a coin I got to put in the toy machine to get a new ball. Mommy was very proud of me for not having any cavities. The dentist said my teeth looked nice and strong, My teeth are very tight together so i need to floose really well. i will need braces when I am older, but I don’t have to worry right now. Keep checking back, I will try to keep everyone up with news and fun stories.

I am sorry for not posting in a long while. I have been a bit depressed and didnt want to write anything sad. Anyways here I am. I little rant. Damn Cops! Actully I have been pulled over numerous times and let go due to what we are doing but this morning I finally got a douche police officer. What a costly fine! Actully was the same cop that gave my boss a ticket when training me. My bosses was for backing up to the school doors. Got a ticket for unauthorized unloading in an unloading zone or something stupid like that. Well mine was for speeding… Since I moved to washington I have been pulled over numerous times. Lots of warnings all were legit. I would gladly take a ticket for any time I get popped on the highway. But damn I just trying to get my job done on my route. We dont have enough time to even do our routes on time. I have talked to numerous police offers who dont even seem to care what we do. They understand that there is not enough time in the morning. Well anyways I guess this cop does not think so. So I can waste a day of my life plead guilty go to court and try for a reduced fine or maybe a pass…. Or I can just fork over the $195. I am thinking I will just pay so I dont need to go up to blaine and waste a day in the courts. The one major thing I miss about california is they were not able to hide down there. Up here it seems they dont need to have thier lights on and they just get to sit in the dark and wait. Unfair! Anyways guess its time to buy a new radar detector and when I can afford it some lidar jamming unit. Atleast it reminds me i should change my address to my bellingham one instead of pt roberts . What a wonderful day this is going to be!
December 19th, Jimmy had his 6 month checkup. Can you believe it he is 6 months old! He is growing strong and right on track. Jimmy even got his first 2 bottom teeth. He is in the 50% group for his weight, weight 17lbs 11oz. He is in the 50% group for his height. meausring around 26″ although when measuring the nurse had a hard time since he decided he wanted to roll around and not let the nurse do her job. boys will be boys I guess. The nurse couldnt get an acurate measurment so well have to wait until next time around. His head is in the 20% group. lol he Kinda has a small head! but still cute bald. When at the the Doc , Dr. wallace asked if I wanted to give him the flu shot. which I agreed to since its better to be safe then sorry, Since He was getting one guess who got one, Yes I know I’m mean. Katie was so mad at me she wouldn’t talk to me the rest of the day, but now with the kids and I getting the flu shot james wont have to worry! we hope..When the Doc was asking How Jimmy was doing after haveing RSV he said he was worried Jimmy would have been in the hospital if the inspirater hadnt worked. If I think he is starting to get a bug again i have to put him back on the inspirator doc said even if he dosent need it it wont harm him so not to be afrais to give it to him. the worst it will do id get his heart pumping a litte fast and his hands may shake a little. he even called to check-up on him a few times while he was sick. he said even though jimmy is acting like he is over his bug I still have to watch him because just the slightest bug will set it off again. Just great!!!!.Nic just had training on this she knows about it. lol…Katie is doing great, she is keeping her stuff picked up cause she thinks it’s grose that her brother(as katie would say it her BUTTER) is drooling over all her toys. I think its time to move the kitchen table and get baby gates to make the kids a play room. that way jimbo has a safe place to play. I’m so paranoid when he starts crawling he will get into things. with Katie we never had to worry about her getting into things, even know she is such a good little girl. I think in August when our lease is up we are going to be looking for a 3 bed room house, we’re jsut outgrowing our little apartment.
Christmas was ok, nothing special james ended up falling asleep and it was jut the kids and i most of the day. pretty much stayed in our P.j’s and played with the new toys. sure did miss california this year. James said in 2009 he will send us home. but that’s another year away. Katie enjoyed opening up her gifts she recieved from everyone. Jimmy well he was in heaven ripping up the paper and eating wht he tore off, but for a 6 month old he had a great time with his gifts. katie even showed him wht to do. when we were all finished up katie and Jimmy played with their toys, katie’s favorite gift was from mom & dad which was a real size buzz and woody that actually make noise like the characters in toy story. Jimmy is a happy little bouncer, My mom and Aunt bought him a house seat he sits in like a johnny jumper just dosn’t go in the door way, buddy will be in there for ever just happily bouncing, silly boy. as for james and I we are still working and keeping busy. I think its almost time for a vacation. this weather we have been having is a drag. sure makes me sleepy and always tired, not good for a california girl. poor james has been delivering papers in this weather, I try and keep the house warm for him. Well Hope you all had a great Christmas and have a nice new year. James will be working and I will just stay home with the kids, Happy 2009 all.
Hold macroni! 20 years old! I really am starting to feel old. I was used to being one of the youngest in the work place. Now days it seems there are a ton of people younger then I even some higher up managers. It is wierd to think of myself as being old but I am starting to feel that way. Atleast I am still on of the youngest out on the paper route 
. I guess it wont be that way forever though because as time goes on you will get older. I wonder if my wife feels the same way… I think she is one of the youngest at the bank still. It really hits you hard though when your boss is younger then you. I know it shouldnt but it is just strange. I kinda feel bad for the younger managers anyways. It has to be much harder to earn the respect that they desire. With bryan leaving his teens that is just WOW.
You remember the other day i wrote a very short post about how I love snow. Well I hate ice. The last 2 days have been hell around here. They dont salt or sand any residential streets in whatcom county so my route is just a big ice skating wrink. Good thing I have decent tires but then again even the best tires dont help you much on the ice. It just means the route is a bit slower. About 1 hour slower to be exact. With another 3 – 6 inches of snow falling tonight we are sure to have a lot of ice for the next 3 -5 days untill we get back above freezing. Which our high as not gone above freezing since saturday. The cold snap should be over on sunday and we will be looking at a high temp of 40! Nice and toasty warm. I can live with 40. But when you are outside and its about 16 with a wind chill of -10 that kinda hurts. Its funny how much slower you move when you start to get cold. Yes I do bundle up to deal with it but you still feel the bite. I have since purchased gloves for when we unload the truck since I feel I got a bit of frost bite on sunday and that really effected my dealing. Every flick of a card was painful. I have once again got used to the pain only to make my hands stronger. When people has me why I dont use moistorizer on them when they are cracking in any possible place they can crack I tell them I just want strong tough hands. Working man hands. No point being all wimpy about it.
Still I cant belive that Bryan is 20! He will be done with school in a couple more years and starting his professional carreer. He is on track for a good start. Way to go buddy!
WEEEEEEEEE as much of a pain in the butt snow is to drive in its still peacful to watch it fall. I think I will always live somewhere where it snows because its so much fun for the kids.
Just wnated to say Happy Holidays to everyone. Monday night The kids and I met up with James to Look for that perfect Christmas tree. Katie Loved running around looking at the trees and the decorations the lot had. We Finally picked a Beautiful small very green full tree. We let katie run around while we asked her which one she liked best. James brought the tree home and set it up while katie and i went to get the family dinner. When we got home the tree was ready to be decorated.We Played Christmas music. Katie had a bath and got in her P.j’s while I put the lights on the tree. Jimmy was watching his dad play on the Computer and wanted to grab at the lights. Around 8:30pm Our Pretty tree was decorated with the lights all lite up. I’ll be hanging the stockings tonight when I get Home. Katie did a beautiful job decorating the the windows in the living room with window stickers. ( She even put some in the car window. lol )This weekend I will have all the Kids gifts wraped and ready to put out. Katie is getting a Huge kitchen so I will most likely be keeping it at a friends house unitl its time to come out, no place to hide it in the apt. We have recieved a few packages from grandparents and family. thank you all. It’s going to be a blast this year watching katie open her gifts as she is at the age where she knows about santa, and its Jimmys first Christmas, I’m Extra excited this year. katie even asked me if I can take her to see santa, So a couple weekends ago i took her to the mall and let you tell santa what she wanted. she whispered to him she wanted the little mermaide. her new favorite thing. James wants to get Katie a Wii which would be a lot of fun for the family, but you cant find them anywhere around here. So might have to wait for her Birthday or something.
Katie is still loving going to school and playing with her friends. She has been takeing swim lessons the last few weeks and seems to be enjoying it. She has also taken a few field trips on the school bus to cornwall park. She jsut loves going out and playing with her friends. Can’t believe this will be her 4th Christmas. Our princess is growing up to be a beautiful little girl.
Jimmy is doing good he is starting to eat baby food now. its funny to watch him taste things for the first time cause he will push the food out with his tongue or he will make a funny face. when I show his is bottle he will grabe it in a heart beat and shove it in his mouth. Jimmy has his 6 month Check up on the 19th. So I’ll Update again next weekend to let you know how our little guy is doing.
Hey everyone. Its already decemember. Just two more paychecks till christmas :O. I have my wife taken care of and we have some stuff for the kids on lay away at kmart. I still want to get Katie a Wii. If I find a good buy on craigslist or something then I will snatch one up. You cant seem to find them in any store around here 
. I have been doing research on young kids and video games and I like the full hand eye cordination thing and I know its better then watching a DVD any day of the week. Wii seems like the perfect system due to the controls and it can be fun for the full family . I went to costco today had to special order my tires. They will be in later this week. They dont do appointments so they are making it kinda hard on me with my funky sleeping sched. I am trying to get trisha to drop off and pick up my car but she says she has not driven a stick in a couple years and would be afraid :O.
Last night on my paper route my lights went out. Well first I was down to one head light i was cool with that then the other one went 20 minutes later. Thank goodness it was the bulbs and not a dimmer switch or something. I went out and go a very nice set of bulbs. They are very bright! Almost blinding! But will help with my night driving since almost all my driving is after dark anyways. When you put on your highbeams you would think the sun was out . So new tires and lights should be good to go for the winter now.
The kids are out getting there pictures taken right now. Trisha was not ready so she decidied pictures would be kids only. We will bust out some family ones when we have some time.
Hello Everyone I hope you all had a great thanksgiving, Ours was quite but nice. Katie and I made daddy dinner jimmy was watching. later that night The kids and I met a few co-workers at a friends house for turkey dinner. it was nice and relaxing. We watched the polar express then headed home to spend time with James Before he headed to the next job. Around 9pm I put the kids to bed and decided to have a few minutes to myslef before heading to bed.
Today at the Bank was terriably slow. I had only done 10 transactions in 5 hours. around 1:30pm I got a phone call from Kids world leting me know Jimmy had a temprature of 102.4. I was consurned cause he had that bronchialbronchitas three weeks ago and I thought maybe it was RSV. I called the Nurse right away. Since his Doc wanted to see him if his fever returned. I then drove to the school to pck up the kids and get the info I will need to tell the doc what was going on with james. while visiting with the teach she said her son was like this when he was teething. I was like katie got her first tooth when she was like 14 months old. but then jimmy started to cry again. I got a glance in his mouth and what do you know there on the bottom there were 2 teeth tring one you can see and one just about to break thru. The teacher looked in his mouth and said i think there are three. I was so surprised no wonde he is fussy, I knew he started teething he was chewing on everything. but i didnt thik it would be today when i would see them lol.. our little man is growing up so fast he is moving and rolling and sitting up he found his little voice and loves making sounds to katie cause he knows she will do the right back to him. now he has teeth geeze i bet her will be walking when he is 8months old to keep up with his big sister. Katie is so amazing with him. he loves to rock him, hold him and play with him, she does such a good job helping me clean up and put things in the wash, James and I are So lucky to be blessed with such wonderful kids.
anyway whats everyones plans for x-mas? looks like james will have to work so only the kids and I will be home. Sure makes me want to move back home jsut for the holiday get togethers.
